About Fileflow

A small tool for
a more visible wait.

Fileflow is a free, independent calculator for estimating transfer time from file sizes and a rate you enter. It gives this one task its own focused website.

What it does

Add one or more size rows, choose decimal or binary units, then enter a bit rate and usable-throughput percentage. Fileflow shows the theoretical and adjusted durations, the combined byte total, and a local text or CSV plan. No account or file upload is needed. The guide shows the exact conventions with worked examples.

What the number means

The result is a constant-rate arithmetic model. Fileflow does not test network speed, transfer data, verify an internet plan, recommend a provider or promise a completion time. Inputs and assumptions determine the estimate.

Keeping the tool free

The owner intends to support the tool with advertising if the host is approved and its advertising and consent setup is completed. This release has no active advertising, consent-management or analytics scripts. Publisher metadata and ads.txt identify the intended publisher; they do not activate ads or prove advertising approval. Check Privacy for the current disclosure.
